Standing Seam Metal Roofing

Architecturally flexible design options.

Standing seam roofing and cladding systems can be manufactured to create a visually attractive, weatherproof finish for a range of different building types. They are produced from aluminium and steel sheets in a variety of lengths to offer versatility, ease-of installation and cost-effective waterproofing.

Standing seam sheets can be specified as part of a full built-up system to achieve particular thermal, acoustic and environmental properties. They can also be specified curved, tapered and at a wide range of roof pitches, making them ideal for incorporating into sophisticated architectural designs.

The product can be rolled on site in lengths well over 100m and when used in the aluminium format, on-site welding ensures complete weathering of penetrations. These systems require minimal maintenance and can be re-cycled at the end of the buildings life.

Structural Roof Decking

Deep structural decks are suitable for supporting most roof constructions across large spans. Typically these specialist decks are rolled from steel coil and can be supplied in lengths to suit the structure, transport permitting. Structural decks are ideal for forming barrel vault style roofs over curved main steel rafters.

Composite Roof and Wall Cladding

This is a cost effective ‘pre-layered’ wall cladding system which includes the lining, insulation and top sheet all in one panel. Insulated composite panels for both roof and wall applications are an ideal solution for the commercial and industrial markets where are a fast track and economical solution is required.

The composite panels are available in a wide range of coatings and insulation thicknesses. They also have guaranteed structural & thermal performance.

Composite wall systems are ideally suited for commercial and industrial projects delivering a fast and economical installation.

The product is available utilising two main insulations, PIR foam and dense rockwool, both having advantages and disadvantages.

Single Ply Roofing

Single Ply Roofing has become very popular over the last 20 years or so and is generally offered as either a thermoplastic or a synthetic rubber. PVC is the common product used in the market place although there are TPO, TPE and EPDM equivalents. These systems are generally installed as part of a built-up roofing system, commonly a warm roof consisting of the top waterproofing single ply layer, insulation, vapour control layer and a structural deck of either concrete, timber or metal profiled decking. It can be used in a variety of situations and environments and is a durable product with good fire performance and longevity with most good quality systems now promoting a life expectancy of over 30 years. Well suited to new build and refurbishment across all market sectors.

Specialist Cladding Systems

Tailored weatherproof options for both roofs and walls

Built up cladding systems are a generic design whereby a steel liner panel is fixed to a steel frame with a cavity former, insulation and steel top sheet with coloured paint/plastisol finish.

Specialist cladding systems come in a range of material, colours, profiles and sizes, enabling a truly individual design to be achieved. They can also incorporate a variety of insulation types and liners for additional thermal and air-tight performance. Alternative ‘U’ values, acoustic and fire wall constructions are easily incorporated due to spacer systems and certified testing.

Precision Projects has the expertise to install virtually all types of external roof and wall cladding, including rain screen, multi-layered and other specialist cladding options.

Structural Composite Wall

Structural wall panels are used for all building types generally where speed of erection is paramount. The panels can be designed to span from column to column or vertically. This minimises the need for cold rolled secondary steelwork which can help to reduce the overall construction programme, complexity and build costs.

They panels also offer a higher level of fire resistance, both integrity and insulation, as standard.

Architectural Facades and Rainscreens

Rainscreen facades are available in a range of finishes including stainless steel, aluminium, copper, granite, ceramic, zinc, cedar and terracotta.

Rainscreens provide a ventilated façade designed to protect the external building fabric against the weather.

Rainscreen panels are manufactured project specific to sizes and shapes required by the design team. They are usually secret fixed to a lightweight support grid which is in turn fixed to the building structure. Insulation is also installed to meet current regulations.

Rainscreens are suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects.

Bespoke rainwater drainage solutions

Precision Projects are able to calculate, design, supply and install rainwater systems for specific project requirements. Most roofing projects require us to provide rainwater drainage calculations.

Louvres

Precision Projects are able to supply and install architectural louvres and our supply chain are able to equip us with acoustic and other performance louvres, so we’re sure to have a system to suit your requirements.

Our supply chain designers and in house draughtsman can advise suitable solutions for their incorporation into differing cladding systems.

Roof Safety Line Systems

We are able to design, install and maintain a wide range of fall protection and fall prevention products with the sole aim of either eliminating or reducing the risks associated with working above ground level providing safe access to rooftops and building facades for maintenance purposes.

Cavity Barriers

Wherever there is a concealed cavity within a building, whether that is a floor, wall, ceiling or external façade – there is a risk of fire spreading. One of the main challenges in these circumstances is ensuring that the breathability of the building is balanced with the ability to prevent the passage of smoke and fire through the channels – which can often pose a design conflict.

Precision Projects are competent, trained installers of SIDERISE fire barriers.

SIDERISE have provided acoustic, fire and thermal insulation solutions for building facades for over 40 years.

Their passive fire protection systems (historically branded LAMATHERM) are industry leading, and many are third party certified. The SIDERISE curtain walling firestop was the first to market internationally and their reactive solution for ventilated facades was the first within Europe.

Extensive experience in architectural acoustics further compliments their range enabling us to offer complete solutions that encompass insulation, integrity in terms of fire and noise control.

The technical team at SIDERISE not only has the technical expertise to provide acoustic and fire safety advice but also the practical ‘hands on’ knowledge with respect to installation.

Their products are tested to the European standards detailed in ETAG026 Part 3 which include however are not exclusive to EN1364-4, EN1364-3, EN1366-4. Also tested ‘Open State Cavity Barriers’ to ASFP Standards for ventilated facades.
